At 4 PM the penny rate ends and standard pricing resumes. The station itself does not close — it is open 24/7, the same as every other day of the year.

Nothing to set up. Your account handles it, and the event rate applies automatically during event hours.
If you drive anything else
No adapter needed
There is a Magic Dock on site, so a CCS car plugs straight in — Chevy, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Rivian and the rest. Start the session in the Tesla app; about two minutes, best done before you leave.

Is this a new station?
The station has been charging cars since July. Saturday is the day we open it properly — with the city, the people who built it, and six hours of penny charging.
Do I need an EV to come?
No. The penny rate is for drivers; the open house is for everyone. Come see the site, get a drink, ask us anything.
Will my car charge here?
Any EV plugs straight in — there is a Magic Dock on site, so no adapter. Your car charges at the highest rate it supports — real speed depends on your vehicle, its battery state, and how busy the station is.
Do I need an app?
If you drive a Tesla, plug in and go. If you do not, start the session in the Tesla app — about two minutes, and worth doing at home rather than at the stall.

Do I need to sign up or reserve a stall?
No reservations. 4 stalls, first come, first served.
Can I get there without driving?
Orchard Station is about a 0.4-mile walk northeast, off Greenwood Plaza Blvd — the same side of I-25 as the station, so there is no highway to cross.
What happens after 4 PM?
Standard rates resume and the event wraps. The station stays open — it runs 24/7, every day.
